Commercial Support for PITLAKQ

What

We offer commercial support for the software PITLAKQ. PITLAKQ is a sophisticated numerical tool for modeling the water quality of pit lakes with a focus on complex hydro-chemical phenomena. We offer pre-paid support packages starting from one hour. Support is via email and telephone. Typical reaction times are one to two business days.

Who

The support is provided by Dr. Mike Müller who is the developer and maintainer of PITLAKQ. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering in Water Resources from BTU Cottbus Germany, a M.Sc. in Hydrology and Water Resources from The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA and a Dipl.-Ing. in Water Resources from TU Dresden, Germany. He has been working with PITLAKQ for 15 years.

Costs

We offer packages for 1, 4, 8 or more hours for one flat, pre-paid fee. Hours exceeding the package limit cost extra and will be charged. The following table details the prices for different packages and extra hours.

All prices are subjected to 19% VAT if applicable. The currency of all prices is Euros.

Payment

Payments can be made via wire transfer in Euros (IBAN) or via credit card payment. Please contact us for details.

Expiration of Packages

Unused support time is non-refundable and expires after one year for pre-paid packages of up to 8 hours, after two years for packages with more than 8 and up to 40 hours and after three years for packages with more then 40 hours.

Time Sheets

All used support units are recored in a customer time sheet. The smallest unit is 15 minutes. Short times will be rounded to 15 minutes units on a daily basis. For example, if you used 1 hour and 20 minutes of your package time for an email answer and talked to our consultant on the phone for 3 minutes in one day, the time will be rounded to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Days are defined as days of GMT. All time recording is in GMT. The customer can see the current time sheet any time upon request.
